Kaya multi purpose cloth in a fun retro pattern. Ultra absorbent, soft, excellent for cleaning and drying dishes. Kayagofukin fabric is carefully woven in the Nara prefecture, and then embroidered and printed in the Wakayama prefecture of Japan. 30x40cm

Traditional Kaya cloth uses a starch paste in the manufacturing process, so it feels stiff to the touch, but  but give it a good rinse with warm water to remove the paste residue and you'll find it becomes soft and fluffy.

Kayagofu cloth made of rayon yarn is 1.3 times more absorbent than cotton, and is resistant to oil stains, removing them with just a quick wipe.  The coarse weave of the kayagofu, which is unique to kayagofu, makes it highly breathable and quick-drying, so it can be used hygienically.

 

 

 

 

When new, the cloth seems stiff, but give it a rinse in warm water and it will soften up. They are remarkably durable and dry very quickly, making them
